Ecolab's ProTec transport and storage system for liquid detergents has
received two industry awards for sustainability and innovation. ProTec
earned the Global Packaging Award for its sustainable design from The
WorldStar Packaging Organization and an innovation award from the
Europropre conference in Paris, France.

ProTec received the Global Packaging Award from The WorldStar Packaging
Organization at a special ceremony during the INTERPACK 2011 conference
in Duesseldorf, Germany. This is the first global award for an Ecolab
storage system.
The WorldStar Packaging Awards recognize state-of-the-art packaging and
create a living standard of international packaging excellence from
which others may learn. The WorldStar Awards are presented only to those
packages which, having already won recognition in a national
competition, are compared by an expert panel of judges to similar
packages from around the world. Ecolab was one of 26 global companies
selected to receive the award through a comprehensive selection process
that included expert committee assessments on best-in-class packaging
execution and innovation.
ProTec also received an innovation award this past April at the
Europropre conference in Paris, a major conference for the industrial
cleaning business in France. This year's award placed special emphasis
on sustainability and worker safety, areas in which ProTec excelled.
