ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Ecolab Inc. today announced the launch of DryExx® GS, a dry conveyor
lubricant formulated for glass packaging on stainless steel or mixed
conveyors used in the beverage, brewery and food processing industries.
The patented, high-performance lubricant, when used in conjunction with
Ecolab's innovative control system, reduces water use in conveyor lines
by as much as 97 percent and also helps enhance workplace safety. DryExx
GS is the newest product in the DryExx Dry Conveyor Lubrication Program
from Ecolab.
"We know the pressures our customers are under to run more efficient and
sustainable operations. We developed DryExx GS to help reduce water
usage while increasing conveyor speeds and reducing broken bottle
counts," said Timothy P. Mulhere, Ecolab's senior vice president and
general manager, Food & Beverage North America. "Individual customers
using DryExx GS have reduced water usage by as much as 1 million gallons
annually per production line. In addition, reducing water usage can also
improve worker safety by helping to prevent injuries caused by slippery
floors."
With its newest conveyor lubricant, Ecolab is also introducing an
innovative, engineered control system to help optimize line efficiency.
The DryExx GS conveyor management solution can reduce bottle tipping,
breakage and line stoppage, as well as help reduce influent/effluent

with mixed lines of stainless steel and plastic on a range of small to
large packaging types.
